The Indian team gives Rohit Sharma a guard of honour as he walks back with the highest ODI score ever, and the second-highest List A score, becoming the only man to make two ODI double-centuries. He was on 4 off 16 when he was dropped by Thisara Perera. He got to his 50 off 72, 100 off 100, 150 off 125, 200 off 151 and 250 off 166. Phew. He was coming back from a finger injury sustained in England in August. His timing with the bat is out of this world, but his timing with injuries is pretty bad. There were questions whether Ajinkya Rahane, who hadn't done badly at all with a century in England, should replace him as opener. Talk about reclaiming your spot.

Rohit Sharma created history, becoming the first man ever to smash two double centuries in ODIs.

Always Leave Office on Time by APJ Abdul Kalam

Love your job
but don’t love your company,
because you may not know
when your company
stops loving you.
- Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam

ALWAYS LEAVE OFFICE ON TIME

  1. Work is a never-ending process. It can never be completed.
  2. Interest of a client is important, so is your family.
  3. If you fall in your life, neither your boss nor client will offer you a helping hand; your family and friends will.
  4. Life is not only about work, office and client. There is more to life.
  5. You need time to socialize, entertain, relax and exercise. Don’t let life be meaningless.
  6. A person who stays late at the office is not a hardworking person. Instead he/she is a fool who does not know how to manage work within the stipulated time. He/She is inefficient and incompetent in his work.
  7. You did not study hard and struggle in life to become a machine.
  8. If your boss forces you to work late, he/she may be ineffective and have a meaningless life too; so forward this to him/her.

Leaving Office on Time:
Efficient
Good Social Life
Quality Family Life

Leaving Office Late:
Inefficient & Incompetent
No Social Life
Less Family Life

Famous Quotes  Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

"If a country is to be corruption free and become a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly feel there are three key societal members who can make a difference. They are the father, the mother and the teacher."

"Desire, when it stems from the heart and spirit, when it is pure and intense, possesses awesome electromagnetic energy. This energy is released into the ether each night, as the mind falls into the sleep state. Each morning it returns to the conscious state reinforced with the cosmic currents. That which has been imaged will surely and certainly be manifested. You can rely, young man, upon this ageless promise as surely as you can rely upon the eternally unbroken promise of sunrise... and of Spring." (Book: Wings of Fire)

“Thinking is the capital, Enterprise is the way, Hard Work is the solution” (Book: Ignited Minds: Unleashing the Power Within India)

“Learning gives creativity
Creativity leads to thinking
Thinking provides knowledge

Knowledge makes you great.”

“This is my belief: that through difficulties and problems God gives us the opportunity to grow. So when your hopes and dreams and goals are dashed, search among the wreckage, you may find a golden opportunity hidden in the ruins''.”

Come, Make in India - By PM Narendra Modi

Make in India is our commitment—and an invitation to all—to turn India into a new global manufacturing hub. We will do what it takes to make it a reality.
When we talk of Make in India, we are not just offering a competitive situation to produce but we give you an opportunity to create a huge market for your product. After all, handsome buyer is equally important as cost effective manufacturing.
Make in India is a LION’s step that will lead to the growth of manufacturing sector in India on one hand and on the other passing direct benefit to the youth by providing employment & income opportunities.
I want Indian companies to become multinational. Indian companies should have their arms elsewhere too. India’s destiny can be changed. I move forward with this confidence.
We will pursue this mission by eliminating redundant laws and regulations, making bureaucratic processes easier and shorter, and ensuring that our government is more transparent, responsive and accountable.
Our first commitment has been the decision to move ahead by trusting every citizen of the country. We should begin with trust and government should intervene only if there is some shortcoming. Our decision of self-attestation does just that. Our decision on allowing self-attestation is a major example of how we want to restore the trust in our people.
The next thing is our Digital India mission. Through this, our Government is committed to remove the chasm between the corporate processes and Government processes. Like ease of business, we also need easy and effective governance. Every person should have his details on the click of a mouse.
Entire world is looking towards Asia. I do not need to waste time inviting; I only need to provide an address. India has a unique combination of democracy, demographic dividend and demand. By channelizing these three properties, we can have the entire World come looking for India.
For a long time Look-East policy is under discussion. With Look East, we have to Link West. If we connect these two, then with our global vision, we can establish a new platform for our economic structure. The mood of the Nation should be to have the best of the World.

We have begun a new level of Centre-State coordination. When we say ‘Make in India’, we are ready to stand with the States as a facilitator to capture global market.
‘Make in India’ is not a mere slogan or an invitation, it is our responsibility.
Thank you

Final Speech of Sachiiiiiiiiin......... Sachin!

"Friends please settle down, I'll get more emotional! It's hard to believe my wonderful journey is coming to an end. I've a list of names to thank. The first is my father, who passed away in 1999. Without his guidance I wouldn't be standing in front of you. he said 'chase your dreams, don't give up, the path will be difficult.' I miss him today. My mom, I don't know how she managed a naughty child like me. She just prayed and prayed from the day I started playing the game. For four years I stayed with my uncle and aunt when in school, they treated me like their own son. My eldest brother Nitin doesn't like to talk ,much but he said, whatever you do, I know you will give 100%. My first cricket bat was presented to me by my sister Savita. She still continues to fast while I bat. Ajit my brother - We have lived this dream together, he sacrificed his career for me, he took me to Achrekar sir first. Even last night he called me to discuss my dismissal. Even when I'm not playing we will still be discussing technique. If that hadn't happened, I would have been a lesser cricketer.

"The most beautiful thing happened to me when I met Anjali in 1990. I know that being a doctor there was a big career in front of her. But she decided that I should continue playing and she took care of the children. Thanks for bearing with me for all the nonsense I've said (Anjali wipes tears). Then the two precious diamonds of my life Sara and Arjun. I've missed out on several birthdays, holidays. I know for 14-16 years I've not spent enough time with you. But I promise you I will spend the next 16.

"My inlaws - I've discussed several things with them. The most important thing they did was allow me to marry Anjali. In the last 24 years my friends have made terrific contributions. They have been with me while I was stressed. They have been with me even at 3am when I was injured. Thanks for being there for me.

"My career started when I was 11. I was extremely delighted to see Achrekar sir in the stands. I used to ride on his scooter and play two matches a day. Sir took me along to make sure I played. On a lighter note, Sir never said 'well played' because he didn't want me to be complacent. You can push your luck now, Sir, since I'm not playing cricket anymore.

"I started my career here in Mumbai. I remember landing from NZ at 4am and playing a Ranji game the next day. The BCCI was fantastic from my debut. Thanks to the selectors. You were right with me making sure I was well taken care of.

"Thanks to all the senior cricketers who have played with me. We see on the screen Rahul, VVS, Sourav, Anil who is not here. All the coaches. I know when MS presented the 200th Test cap, I had a message to the team - I said we are all so proud to be representing the nation. I hope to continue to serve the nation with dignity. I have full faith that you will serve the country in the right spirit.
I will be failing in my duty if I didn't thank the doctors who have kept me fit. Given the injuries I have suffered. They have treated me in odd hours.

My dear friend the late Mark Mascarenhas. I miss him. My current management team WSG, for continuing what Mark has done. Someone who has worked closely with me for 14 years is my friend Vinod Nayudu.

"The media has backed me a lot, since my school days. Even today. Thank you. Thanks to the photographers for capturing those moments.

"I know my speech has become long. I want to thank people who have flown in from different parts of the world. I want to thank my fans from the bottom of my heart. "Sachin, Sachin" will reverberate in my ears till I stop breathing." (Followed by loud cheers).
